Goldman Sachs Unveils $100B Treasury Fund on Avalanche Network
Goldman Sachs has opened its roughly $100 billion Treasury fund, called FTIXX, to institutional digital-asset firms through Lynq, a private permissioned Avalanche Layer 1 network.
Lynq's platform already connects more than 30 institutional digital-asset firms, including B2C2, Wintermute, Galaxy, FalconX, Crypto.com, and Fireblocks. The combined assets on the platform exceed $89 million.
Unlike tokenized funds like BlackRock's BUIDL and Franklin Templeton's BENJI, FTIXX remains a normal treasury product. Lynq provides digital-asset firms with access to it as an alternative investment option.
The integration required real engineering efforts from Lynq, which modified its technology to support the product. The platform restricted access to qualified U.S. clients only and integrated with Mosaic for the rollout.
