The price of Gram cryptocurrency dropped by 2.29% to $1.42 after reports emerged that Pavel Durov, founder of Telegram and TON blockchain project, is facing charges for aiding terrorism in Russia.

Russia's FSB made the announcement, which led to a decline in Gram's value. According to trading data, as of 12:06 MSK, the asset's rate dropped by 2.29% to $1.42, equivalent to 111.75 rubles.

The TON blockchain project and Toncoin token were originally conceived alongside Gram, but due to legal pressure from the SEC, the original launch was halted, and the network continued development under a new name.
