Grayscale Advances Zcash ETF Launch with Updated SEC Filing
Grayscale has moved closer to launching its Zcash ETF on NYSE Arca after updating its S-3 form for the fund with the SEC. This development comes as traders responded positively, causing the ZEC price to jump more than 2% in the past 24 hours.
The proposed conversion of Grayscale's Zcash Trust to a spot ETF will offer exposure to ZEC prices. The issuer plans to list shares on NYSE Arca under the ticker ZCSH, but has not revealed a management fee or any waiver for the first spot ETF tracking a privacy coin.
The filing also shows that Grayscale is in discussions with DCG International Investments Ltd, a subsidiary of its parent company Digital Currency Group (DCG). Under a potential contribution arrangement, DCG could acquire shares through an authorized participant in exchange for 200,000 ZEC tokens.
