Grayscale Doubles Down on Chainlink as Institutional Interest Grows
Grayscale has continued to increase its exposure to Chainlink (LINK), purchasing an additional 159,480 LINK worth nearly $2.36 million via its Chainlink ETF. This purchase is part of a larger accumulation pattern that began in September, with Grayscale buying a total of 629,100 LINK valued at approximately $8.37 million.
The latest transaction came from a Coinbase Prime hot wallet and was reported by Onchain Lens on X. This expansion of institutional interest in Chainlink comes as Bitwise files a new SEC prospectus for its own Chainlink ETF, which plans to allocate 20% of the fund's LINK holdings towards staking.
Meanwhile, Bottomline has initiated Global Pay Connect using the Chainlink ecosystem, expanding blockchain-based settlement usage across its banking network. As one of the world's largest SWIFT service providers, serving over 600 banks and handling over $16 trillion in payments annually, this integration brings significant traditional-finance reach.
