Grayscale Edges Closer to Launching First US Zcash ETF
The Grayscale Zcash Trust has filed its fifth amendment in an effort to move closer to converting into a listed exchange-traded fund (ETF). The amended registration details plans for the proposed ZCH ticker, a 2.5% annual sponsor fee, and NYSE Arca listing.
Bank of New York Mellon will serve as transfer agent, while Coinbase Custody Trust Company will safeguard the ZEC supporting continuously issued fund shares.
The existing Grayscale Zcash Trust held over $260 million when the amendment appeared, giving the proposed conversion an established asset base. The SEC has not yet approved the proposed conversion, and a potential 200,000 ZEC contribution from DCG International Investments remains nonbinding.
