Grayscale Filing Sends Zcash to 8-Year High Amid Broader Crypto Rally
Zcash (ZEC) has reached an 8-year high after Grayscale filed its fifth amended registration with the SEC.
The amendment advances Grayscale's proposed Zcash ETF, but does not amount to SEC approval. If approved, it would be the first US ETF to directly track Zcash.
The filing sets a 2.5% annual fee, accruing daily, and renames the trust The Zcash ETF. Shares would list on NYSE Arca under ZCSH.
Grayscale pledged to direct 100% of the fee toward marketing and development for up to 12 months, but this is a voluntary commitment.
