Grayscale Greenlights Digital Assets as Bitcoin Bounces Off $58k
Grayscale's Head of Research, Zach Pandl, has stated that Bitcoin's current price of around $58,000 marks the bottom of its bear market phase. This assessment is based on three key areas: long-term structural trends, the current stage of the market cycle, and macroeconomic conditions.
Pandl noted that all three criteria have been met, indicating a positive signal for clients to allocate to digital assets. Grayscale examines the persistence of digital asset adoption and scarcity, the completion of its bear phase, and sufficient macroeconomic conditions before making investment decisions.
Despite Bitcoin's current price remaining 39% below its record high of approximately $126,000, Pandl believes that the bearish phase may be over. This view is shared by Grayscale, which has given clients the 'green light' for allocation to digital assets.
