Grayscale Scoops Up Record Dogecoin Inflows Amid Bitwise Exit
US spot Dogecoin (DOGE) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw record inflows of $2.89 million in the week ending September 25, according to SoSoValue data.
This is their largest week since launch, surpassing the previous high of $2.59 million set in January. The influx came from three sessions: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
The inflows are notable as Bitwise announced it would shut its own Dogecoin fund, BWOW, on October 14, citing a desire to 'optimize its product range to meet evolving investor needs.'
Grayscale's GDOG took in nearly all of the new money, rising from $11.7 million to $15.46 million and accounting for about 81% of the group's assets.
