Grayscale Seeks Approval for Zcash Income ETF with Biweekly Payouts
Grayscale, a well-known digital asset manager, has filed an application to launch its second Zcash Income ETF (ZEC-USD). This new fund aims to track the performance of the Zcash cryptocurrency while providing investors with regular income. The planned biweekly payouts will be made in US dollars.
The Grayscale Zcash Income ETF is designed for investors seeking a relatively stable source of returns, which can be generated through staking or other mechanisms that involve holding and validating transactions on the Zcash network.
Grayscale has filed similar applications to launch income-generating funds for Bitcoin and Ethereum in the past. However, it remains unclear whether the company will successfully list its new Zcash fund, as regulatory approvals are required before such products can be offered to investors.
