Grayscale Sees Bitcoin Long-Term Bottom Ahead Amid 50% Cycle Peak Drawdown
Grayscale has observed that Bitcoin's current drawdown of around 50% from its cycle peak may signal a long-term bottom for the cryptocurrency. This is in contrast to previous market bottoms, where declines were roughly 80%. The asset manager pointed out that historical cycles suggest a sustained rebound could indicate renewed accumulation and institutional demand.
August 22 saw Bitcoin trade near $77,282, slightly above its 50-week moving average of approximately $77,234. Grayscale cautions, however, that macro conditions, liquidity, and investor sentiment will ultimately determine whether the recovery holds.
