Grayscale Sees Green Light for Bitcoin Allocation After Cycle Bottom Call

Grayscale's Head of Research Zach Pandl is sticking to his view that Bitcoin's cycle bottom was at $58,000 in June. He believes that all conditions are now met for investors to allocate funds to the asset. The three-part framework Grayscale uses before advising clients to invest includes the long-term structural trend, the stage of the market cycle, and the macroeconomic backdrop.

Pandl says that Bitcoin's price, currently above $76,000, is a clear indicator that the conditions are met. He also believes that the asset's missing privacy layer makes Zcash an attractive investment opportunity. According to Pandl, Zcash prioritizes privacy at the expense of transparency, which he thinks will become increasingly important with AI growing more powerful and personal data exposed.

The timing of Pandl's green light comes in the aftermath of two market hits: the Clarity Act's Senate defeat and the Fed's first rate hike in three years. Despite these events, Grayscale is not pulling back its bottom call or allocation recommendation.
