Grayscale Unveils Model Portfolios Combining Digital Assets for Financial Advisors
Grayscale has introduced four model portfolios that combine digital asset exchange-traded products for financial advisors. The launch extends Grayscale's advisor offering through a portfolio-based investment structure, allowing advisors to suggest allocations to clients while retaining control over implementation in client accounts.
The four strategies are: Digital Assets Core Plus, which combines BTC, ETH, SOL, and LINK with quarterly rebalancing and 40% asset caps; Digital Assets Leaders, which covers the five largest eligible assets available through single-asset Grayscale ETPs; Digital Assets Next Gen, which excludes Bitcoin and expands coverage across other cryptocurrencies; and Digital Assets Infrastructure, which targets assets linked to protocols supporting smart contracts, tokenization, and other foundational applications.
Laurie Katz, Grayscale's Global Head of Distribution, says advisors increasingly want digital assets within existing client portfolios but often seek an allocation framework that does not require managing every asset separately. The models apply Grayscale's portfolio construction work and more than a decade of digital asset experience.
Separately, Grayscale has filed an amended S-3 registration statement with the SEC on September 11, outlining its proposed conversion of its Bitcoin Cash Trust into an NYSE Arca-listed exchange-traded fund. The shares would continue using the BCHG ticker and would be listed on NYSE Arca.
