Grayscale Zcash ETF Sees $93.56M in Weekly Outflows
The Grayscale Zcash ETF saw a significant decline in investor interest, with net outflows reaching $93.56 million over the past week. This is the largest weekly withdrawal since the fund's launch on NYSE Arca. In contrast to the initial inflows of $271 million in mid-September, the recent outflows have brought down the net inflows to around $212.56 million.
The fund's asset value had seen a considerable increase within its first few weeks of trading, but the recent withdrawals have marked a sharp change from the initial trend. The Grayscale Zcash ETF allows investors to get exposure to ZEC in the form of shares issued as interests in a trust that holds the cryptocurrency.
The Zcash network activity remains mixed, with 7,113 finalized transactions on October 2. The transactions can use transparent or shielded structures, indicating that blockchain activity and ETF flows represent different aspects of the ecosystem.
