Grayscale's XRP position in its CoinDesk Crypto 5 ETF has shrunk significantly, dropping by 27.1% to 12.3 million tokens as of June 30, 2026, according to a recent SEC filing.

The fund reported holding approximately 16.87 million XRP on the same date last year, but this number decreased to 12.3 million after redemptions and portfolio mechanics took their toll. The fair value of these tokens also declined from around $39.14 million to $12.83 million during the period.

Despite the reduction, XRP remains the fourth-largest asset in the fund, making up 4.15% of its net assets at the end of fiscal year 2026. Bitcoin dominates the portfolio with a weight of 76.03%, followed by Ether and BNB.

XRP-focused researcher BankXRP highlighted the change after Grayscale's FY2026 Form 10-K was submitted to the SEC on September 3, covering the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026.
