Grayscale's Zcash ETF Plunges $93.56 Million in Single Week
The first US spot Zcash ETF, Grayscale's ZCSH, has had its roughest week yet, with a $93.56 million loss to outflows over a single week.
The fund, which debuted on August 25, 2026, on NYSE Arca, initially showed strong performance, with cumulative net inflows reaching $271 million by mid-September.
However, in late September and early October, the fund experienced a significant decline in trading activity, with several days seeing redemptions in the $26-30 million range.
The damage accumulated, with cumulative net inflows dropping from around $268 million to $212.56 million over this period, and assets under management falling from approximately $915-979 million in September to around $751 million by early October.
The fund's 2.5% expense ratio may also be a contributing factor to the decline, as holders pay that percentage of their investment each year to own it.
