Grayscale's Zcash ETF Prepares for 3-for-1 Share Split Amid Growing Institutional Interest
Grayscale's Zcash ETF (ZCSH) has announced a 3-for-1 share split, set to take place on September 29. This move comes as the fund experiences significant gains and growing interest among institutional investors since its launch in August.
The increase in trading activity is evident from the $233 million inflow surge into ZEC and over $11 billion in trading volume for the ETF. The net assets of the fund have surpassed $890 million, with a notable rise in price for Zcash to an all-time high of $1,521 on September 18.
The institutional interest in Zcash has also grown, with Paradigm co-founder Matt Huang recently disclosing that his firm had purchased ZEC. This is seen as a significant development, given the investment firm's support for continued funding of the project's developer ecosystem.
