Grayscale's Zcash ETF to Split Shares 3-for-1
Grayscale's spot Zcash ETF (ticker ZCSH) is set to undergo a 3-for-1 share split in late September. The move aims to make the fund more accessible to retail investors by lowering its per-share price, while keeping each investor's total holding value unchanged.
The split will be effective on September 30, after which the fund will trade under the same ZCSH symbol on NYSE Arca. Shareholders of record at the market close on September 28 will receive two additional shares for every share they own, with the distribution payable after the market close on September 29.
The total net assets of the fund remain unaffected by the move. Grayscale framed the change as a way to make the fund more accessible to a wider range of investors, with a lower nominal share price that can make whole-share purchases easier for smaller investors.
