A recent preview of Grand Theft Auto 6 has sparked controversy over its potential lack of cryptocurrency features. The game's extended look, available since August 27, does not mention crypto in any form.

TGG, a YouTuber who watched an additional two-and-a-half hours of gameplay at Rockstar North, confirmed that the game's economy revolves around banked money, physical cash, and stolen goods carried in a duffel bag. He did not identify any playable crypto element during his preview.

The leak, attributed to Cyberleek, extracted an estimated $270,000 from a memecoin promoted through multiple GTA 6 gameplay leaks. The leaker's campaign, which included unauthorized clips and a watermark for the Solana-based CYBERLEEK token, appeared to be profit-driven rather than a protest against physical video games.

Cyberleek claimed around $270,000 was withdrawn from trading fees associated with the CYBERLEEK token, then split across several transactions and wallets. If this represents the project's final cash-out, the leaker's potential profit would sit near $241,000.
