Hsin-Ju Chuang, a former partner at crypto venture firm Hack VC, has died at 37. The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner confirmed her death on August 24.

Chuang had a background in the crypto industry, having served as head of growth at Stellar and Solana. She also founded Dystopia Labs and joined Hack VC as a venture partner in 2021, later becoming a partner and head of platform in 2025.

Chuang made public claims against Hack VC before her death, stating that the firm mistreated her while she worked there. In a post on X, she said she planned to release evidence to support her claims, but it's unclear whether this evidence was ever shared.
