Hack VC Partner Hsin-Ju Chuang's Death Ruled Suicide at Age 37

Hsin-Ju Chuang, a former partner at Hack VC, has died at age 37. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner, her death was ruled a suicide.

The incident occurred on August 24th on Interstate 15 in Harvard, California. Chuang's body was pronounced dead at the scene.

Chuang had previously worked with major crypto ecosystems, including Stellar and Solana. She joined Hack VC in 2021 as a venture partner and later became a partner and head of platform in 2025.

Before her death, Chuang publicly accused Hack VC of mistreating her during her time at the firm. She had stated that she planned to release evidence supporting her allegations.
