A recent asset forfeiture order from the US Department of Justice has revealed that Hamas' military branch, Al-Qassam Brigades, has been advising donors to avoid using Binance for transferring funds. Instead, they recommend platforms such as Bybit, OKX, Kast, and Redotpay.

The organization suggests using Tether's USDT stablecoin and the TRC-20 network on the Tron blockchain to create and manage alternative tokens. They claim that Binance can only be used for purchasing currency, after which another application must be used to complete the transfer process.

Responding to the news, Binance' Chief Compliance Officer Noah Perlman stated, 'This clearly shows our controls are working.'

OKX has clarified that the wallet address mentioned in the communication is not associated with their platform and has been flagged as linked to illicit activity. They also mention having a dedicated financial crime compliance department.
