Hamas' military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, has been using cryptocurrency platforms to move funds and evade detection. In a recent filing by the U.S. Department of Justice, it was revealed that Hamas advised donors to avoid Binance when sending funds to the group.

The group recommended alternative platforms, including Bybit, OKX, Kast, Redotpay, and Trust Wallet. Donors were told to transfer Tether's USDT stablecoin using the TRC-20 network via an external TRON wallet.

Binance's chief compliance officer Noah Perlman responded to the news by stating that the warning from Hamas actually validates the platform's efforts. 'When terrorist groups tell people to avoid Binance, it shows our controls are working,' he said.
