Hargreaves Lansdown has expanded its investment options to include nine exchange-traded notes (ETNs) linked to Bitcoin and Ether. The ETNs, issued by asset managers such as BlackRock, WisdomTree, 21Shares, Invesco, CoinShares, and Bitwise, are available for eligible UK clients through the firm's Advanced Investing division.

The platform applies annual fees ranging from 0% to 0.35%, requires a prior appropriateness test, and imposes a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period before trading.

The London Stock Exchange has seen significant trading volume since the FCA lifted its retail ban in October 2025, with approximately $1.5 billion in crypto ETN trading volume generated during this time.
