Solana Whale Suddenly Moves $10M After Year-Long Slumber

A Solana wallet that had been inactive for over a year suddenly moved $10.87 million worth of SOL from Binance to a private wallet on January 10.

The withdrawal, detected by on-chain tracker Lookonchain, consisted of 80,000 SOL and marked the first transaction from the dormant wallet in over 12 months.

Exchange-to-wallet transfers are often seen as a sign that large holders intend to hold onto their assets rather than sell them quickly.

Solana's price was trading at $135.68 on January 10, having declined by around 3% from its intraday high of $140.42 to its low of $135.05.
