Harmony Gives One-Hour Warning to ONE Holders, September 10 Deadline Looms

Harmony has given ONE holders until September 10 to remove their assets from smart contracts on its network. This is because liquidity pools, multisig vaults, and decentralized applications cannot be transferred to Ethereum during the planned migration.

The project will create a snapshot of all ONE balances by the final block before issuing replacement tokens as ERC-20 assets on Ethereum. These new tokens will be sent to the same Ethereum-compatible addresses listed in the snapshot. Users do not need to file a claim for replacement ONE tokens, but the automatic process only covers balances captured in the final blockchain snapshot.

ONE holders must review their wallet activity and check whether any ONE or other tokens remain deposited in smart contracts rather than sitting directly at their addresses. Exchange users will depend on platform support, as Harmony plans to work with trading platforms to replace existing ONE balances and move listings to the ERC-20 version.
