Harvard Management Company has stabilized its position in BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) after two consecutive quarters of reducing its exposure to the ETF. The company held 3,044,612 IBIT shares worth $101.4 million as of June 30, which is unchanged from March quarter-end.

This marks a significant shift for Harvard, which had been cutting its Bitcoin ETF position since late 2025. In the fourth quarter, it reduced its holdings by about 21% to 5,353,612 shares. Then in Q1, it sold another 2.31 million shares, decreasing its stake by 43%.

Harvard's decision to hold steady on its IBIT position comes as other institutional investors are making varying moves. JPMorgan increased its reported IBIT holdings during the second quarter, while Morgan Stanley reduced its exposure by about 4.5%
