HashKey Unifies Regional Exchanges Under One Unified Platform
Hong Kong-based digital asset services business HashKey Holdings has merged its regional exchanges into one unified platform. The move follows a principle of 'unified entry, localized compliance,' where users from different regions can access the same application while the platform manages compliance with local regulatory frameworks.
The exchange now serves Hong Kong, Singapore, the Middle East (Dubai), and Bermuda under a single front-end, simplifying access to systems that remain compliant with regional laws. This shift marks a departure from earlier models where licensed exchanges operated in siloed regions for easier compliance.
This consolidation is similar to moves made by other major platforms such as OKX and Kraken. While HashKey's platform offers a unified experience, it maintains localized management on the backend to ensure regulatory compliance across different jurisdictions.
