Hayes Sees $10K ETH by Year-End Amid Strong Q3

Arthur Hayes, former CEO of BitMEX, predicted Ethereum will reach $10,000 by year-end during an interview at KBW 2026 in Seoul.

This forecast comes after a strong third quarter for ETH, where it gained nearly 70% following two losing quarters. Hayes' prediction has a stronger backdrop than earlier this year when he made similar claims.

Hayes attributed Ethereum's lagging performance to narratives and its own success, saying the network was slow due to increased activity on competing blockchains. However, he believes ETH remains the most secure layer one due to its large market capitalization.
