Hayes Sees Ethereum Reaching $10,000 by Year-End
Ethereum (ETH) price predictions are on the rise as former BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes forecasts $10,000 by the end of 2026. This target is over three times its current price near $2,700.
Hayes made this prediction during an interview at the KBW2026 event in Seoul, explaining that he can put large amounts of money into ETH without worrying about a sudden 75% loss from an exploit. He also stated that Ethereum remains the most secure layer 1 network, citing its market capitalization compared to other altcoins.
Ethereum has been consolidating inside a triangle pattern on the charts, with Hayes pointing out that it's still trading below $2,800, a level that has proven tough to clear. Despite this, Ethereum ETFs have seen cumulative inflows reach $13.95 billion, with a recent streak of positive daily net inflows.
The third quarter saw ETH gain nearly 70%, following two straight losing quarters. This turnaround suggests that Ethereum may be regaining momentum as the cryptocurrency market continues to evolve.
