Hegseth Holds Between $16K and $65K in Coinbase Wallet

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's latest financial disclosure shows that he holds Bitcoin in a Coinbase wallet.

The filing, which covers 2025 and was released by the Office of Government Ethics, lists two separate entries for the Bitcoin under 'other assets and income' as one valued at between $15,001 and $50,000 and the other at between $1,001 and $15,000.

The combined holding sits somewhere between about $16,000 and $65,000, with neither entry appearing in the report's transactions section, which captures purchases and sales above $1,000 during the reporting period.

Hegseth did not buy or sell Bitcoin above that threshold across the year, according to the filing.
