US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's financial disclosure for 2025 has revealed that he holds Bitcoin in a Coinbase wallet, valued between $16,000 and $65,000. The filing lists two separate entries under 'other assets and income', one worth $15,001 to $50,000 and the other $1,001 to $15,000.
Hegseth's total assets reported in the filing amount to at least $3.1 million, including a bank account valued over $1 million. The disclosure also shows that he sold shares in several defense contractors in early 2025, including Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman, but purchased exchange-traded funds (ETFs) later in the year.
