High-Cost Bitcoin Sellers Emerge as Losses Mount

Investors who bought Bitcoin at higher levels are now selling, according to data from Glassnode. Two groups of investors are currently at a loss: those who purchased between 1-2 years ago at an average cost of approximately $97,000 and those who bought 6-12 months ago at an average cost of around $89,000.

Glassnode notes that investors who bought BTC during the 2025 price rally have recorded the highest daily selling volume this year. This is in contrast to investors who purchased during the market pullback, who have not exhibited similar selling behavior.
