Hitachi Introduces AI-Powered Anti-Money Laundering Platform for Digital Assets

Share

Hitachi has introduced a new platform designed to help financial institutions and crypto businesses combat money laundering in digital asset transactions. The Digital Asset AML Platform assesses risks before transfers and monitors transactions afterward, covering both cryptocurrencies and stablecoins.

The service leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze crime- and sanctions-related data. It also tracks the circulation of stablecoins and other tokens after issuance, providing an additional layer of oversight.

Hitachi tested the platform with 17 financial and crypto-related organizations, gathering feedback to refine its capabilities. The company aims to enhance transparency and security in the digital asset space by offering this comprehensive risk assessment tool.
