HIVE Digital Shifts Focus to GPU Computing Power Leasing with Significant Revenue Boost
HIVE Digital Technologies is shifting its focus from Bitcoin mining to GPU computing power leasing. According to Frank Holmes, Executive Chairman of HIVE Digital, this change has led to a significant increase in revenue for the company's computing power business.
The hourly income from mining machines has jumped from $0.14 to $2 per hour, while GPU operations generate $2 per hour in revenue. This change is part of the company's strategy to adapt to changing market conditions and capitalize on emerging trends in the digital economy.
Holmes also discussed the growing debt levels among US consumers, businesses, and the government. He believes that Bitcoin can serve as a hedge against inflation due to its decentralized nature and inability to be issued by the government.
