Hong Kong's ZA Bank Enters Crypto Trading Market with BTC and ETH Options
Hong Kong's ZA Bank has launched crypto trading services for its retail customers. The bank will allow users to trade Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) in US and Hong Kong dollars, with a minimum deposit of $70. This move is part of the bank's effort to provide users with more options for digital asset adoption.
ZA Bank has collaborated with Hashkey Exchange, one of Hong Kong's licensed crypto platforms, to ensure regulatory compliance. The bank's services go beyond crypto trading, as it also provides access to US stocks and funds.
Hong Kong aims to become a regional cryptocurrency hub, and this move by ZA Bank is in line with that goal. The city has seen significant growth in the crypto industry, with over 560 million users globally, as of mid-2024.
