Hoskinson: Crypto Can Outlast Politics

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson believes that the crypto industry can continue growing despite changes in administration. In response to Anthony Scaramucci's question about whether political power still matters for Bitcoin and digital assets, Hoskinson stated that crypto had 'survived the Biden administration' and would also survive the Trump administration.

Hoskinson argued that decentralized networks can keep operating even when regulation becomes stricter or political support changes. He has long maintained that cryptocurrency should not depend on one president, political party, or administration.

During the Biden administration, crypto companies faced stronger regulatory pressure, especially from the SEC under former Chair Gary Gensler. However, Bitcoin and other major blockchain networks continued to expand and attract users.

Hoskinson also expressed concerns about parts of President Donald Trump's crypto policy, specifically his personal involvement in digital assets. He believes that this could make crypto more partisan and reduce bipartisan support for broad legislation.
