Hoskinson Endorses AlphaGrowth, Draper Dragon as EMURGO Replacements
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has endorsed AlphaGrowth and Draper Dragon as capable replacements for EMURGO's role in the Cardano ecosystem. In a recent AMA session, Hoskinson stated that 'AlphaGrowth plus Draper Dragon functionally replaces what EMURGO was supposed to be.' He praised both organizations for their ability to deliver strong results.
EMURGO has reduced its involvement in the Cardano ecosystem following a $2.4 million exploit involving its SecondFi wallet. The firm stepped back from its Pentad role, announced changes to its governance participation, and deregistered from the Intersect board.
AlphaGrowth's PRIME program is a key contributor to Cardano's decentralized finance expansion. It has a 120 million ADA treasury allocation aimed at strengthening liquidity across Cardano's DeFi ecosystem. Draper complements AlphaGrowth's role through its strategic involvement in Cardano's investment and institutional growth efforts.
Hoskinson believes the combined efforts of AlphaGrowth and Draper can provide the ecosystem development, investment support, and commercial growth that EMURGO was originally expected to deliver for Cardano.
