Hoskinson Forecasts Midnight's Rise to Top Zcash Performance

Charles Hoskinson claims that Cardano's Midnight network will eclipse Zcash in performance and use. He argues that Midnight has several advantages, including private agents, selective disclosure, and a DeFi kernel designed to work across major chains.

Hoskinson points out that while Zcash is trading above its level from a year ago, the NIGHT token remains nearly 78% below its all-time high.

The market data shows a wide gap between the two assets, with NIGHT trading near $0.027 and Zcash at around $1,600.

Hoskinson's claim comes as Midnight is working on several privacy techniques, including zero-knowledge proofs, trusted execution environments, and multi-party computations.
