Hoskinson Joins Industry Leaders at Wyoming Blockchain Symposium Amidst Dijkstra Era Rollout
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson is set to join top regulators and industry leaders at the upcoming 2026 Wyoming Blockchain Symposium, an invitation-only event hosted by SALT and Kraken. The symposium will take place from August 17 to 20 at the Four Seasons Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Confirmed speakers also include SEC Chairman Paul Atkins, former CFTC Chairman Michael S. Selig, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, and Stellar Foundation CEO Denelle Dixon, among others. The event aims to accelerate forward-thinking regulatory frameworks and promote decentralized financial models over centrally planned systems.
Cardano is marking its 6th staking anniversary this week, following the Shelley upgrade in July 2020 that introduced delegation and stake pools. Intersect's latest update outlines a three-phase rollout for the Dijkstra era, with Nested Transactions and Linear Leios targeted for Mainnet by late 2026.
The first phase of the Dijkstra rollout will focus on Constitutional updates required after the next hard fork enactment, with community discussions beginning as early as possible. The Haskell node team aims to deliver the first two phases to Mainnet by the end of 2026, enabling incremental deployment of Dijkstra capabilities.
