Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has confirmed his earlier prediction that the U.S. Senate would fail to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (CLARITY Act). The act did not move forward on September 16, 2026, as predicted by Hoskinson.

Hoskinson believes this setback highlights ongoing regulatory uncertainty in the crypto space and could hinder institutional adoption of digital assets. Despite continued development and token launches, the lack of clear regulations may hold back growth in DeFi, CEX/DEX markets.
