HTX Faces EU Sanctions Deadlock Starting August 23

Share

Cryptocurrency exchange HTX will be affected by EU sanctions starting August 23. The restrictions bar direct and indirect transactions with HTX from the designated date onwards.

For individuals seeking to exit the platform after the cutoff, withdrawals require discretionary approval from a national authority, which must also include a full termination of their relationship with HTX.

The EU rules apply to covered dealings that occur within the bloc's jurisdiction. After August 23, post-cutoff withdrawals need regulator approval and must fully end the customer's HTX relationship.
