HTX's Proof of Reserves Report Exposed as Riddled with Errors

Justin Sun's HTX has been accused of faking its proof of reserves (PoR) in a recent report.

The PoR, dated September 1, claimed that HTX held $360,949.90 in USDS at a block height of 25876316. However, an investigation by Protos found that this address actually contained no USDS at that time.

In fact, the only transaction where this address received USDS was on September 2, after the PoR was published, at a block height of 25889452. This raises questions about HTX's transparency and accuracy in its financial reporting.

This is not the first time that HTX has been accused of inaccuracies in its PoR. In May, it claimed to hold STEAK-USDC in an address, but an investigation found that it actually held an equivalent amount of sUSDS, suggesting a mix-up between assets.
