Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang made his debut on X, and it was a bullish sign for crypto and AI, according to Bitwise advisor Jeff Park. The letter's main message echoed the thesis behind crypto networks, focusing on decentralization over concentration, transparency over obscurity, and open infrastructure over closed gatekeepers.

Park noted that Nvidia's success wasn't just due to its hardware but also its software toolkit, Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA), which taught graphics processing units (GPUs) new instructions. Similarly, Solana's architecture was based on the same logic, with co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko taking a parallel-execution mindset from Qualcomm's GPU world into blockchain.

Jensen Huang warned that limiting advanced AI capabilities to a handful of providers creates single points of failure, stifles competition, and concentrates critical technology. He advocated for open-weight AI models, which allow anyone to download, inspect, modify, and run them on their own infrastructure, making them more secure than closed alternatives.
