Hunter Biden Launches Meme Coin Inspired by Infamous Laptop
Hunter Biden, son of former President Joe Biden, is reportedly launching his own cryptocurrency, inspired by his infamous laptop. The laptop, which he dropped off at a computer repair shop in Delaware in April 2019, contained emails, documents, and financial records, as well as explicit photos that appeared to show Biden with women in hotel rooms and doing drugs.
The laptop's contents became a sensation in the run-up to the 2020 election, particularly among Trump-friendly media outlets. However, Hunter Biden's lawyers have said that the files were manipulated. In recent posts on social media site X, Biden has been vocal about his public grievances, including the controversy surrounding the laptop.
Biden has also expressed support for digital currencies, calling decentralized digital currency 'the inevitable future.' He wrote that Congress needs to 'truly understand the value and potential utility of cryptocurrency.'
