Hunter Biden Unveils LAPTOP Meme Coin with Free Airdrop for TRUMP Token Holders

Hunter Biden, son of former US President Joe Biden, is launching a new meme coin called LAPTOP on September 9th. The token will be built on Coinbase's Base blockchain and have a total supply of one billion tokens.

The project will feature an airdrop of 20% of the total supply to holders of the TRUMP token, as well as Substack followers and select mailing list recipients who have experienced financial losses on the TRUMP token. Approximately 989,000 TRUMP token wallets have accumulated around $3.81 billion in combined losses since its January 2025 debut.

The distribution plan also sets aside 20% for philanthropic initiatives and another 30% will be controlled by the project's founding members under a six-month lockup period followed by a two-year vesting schedule. The LAPTOP token's branding draws from Hunter Biden's personal laptop, which sparked controversy during the 2020 election cycle.

The project also includes an innovative burn protocol that could destroy up to 30% of tokens based on predetermined scenarios such as Democratic victories in 2028 or Bitcoin reaching new peaks.
