Hunter Biden's Son Launches Memecoin Project Tied to Political Events

Hunter Biden, son of former US President Joe Biden, is launching his own memecoin project called 'LAPTOP' on September 9th. Inspired by controversy surrounding Hunter's laptop in 2020, the token will be launched on the Ethereum Layer-2 network Base, developed by Coinbase.

The project plans to create 1 billion tokens, with 30% of the total supply going to the founders, including Hunter Biden. The founders' tokens cannot be sold for six months and will vest over two years.

20% of the tokens will be distributed to select users who lost money on Donald Trump's TRUMP memecoin or are subscribers to Hunter's Substack account. Another 20% will be used for charitable purposes, liquidity provision, and administrative expenses.

LAPTOP's token burning mechanism is tied to specific political and financial events. If 30 predetermined events occur within a specified period, up to 30% of the total supply could be burned.
