HYPE's recent decline followed a recovery from around $85 on the 4-hour chart, with the token rebounding above $90 before selling pressure pushed it back down to $88.46.
The Hyperliquid Policy Center (HPC) has been pressing European regulators to classify perpetual futures under existing derivatives rules, arguing that products should be treated based on their economic features rather than blockchain use.
