HYPE Token Surges to $83 After Hashdex ETF Addition

Hyperliquid's HYPE token surged to $83 following its integration into Hashdex's NCIQ cryptocurrency ETF, marking a 1.29% increase. The token secured a 3.36% allocation in the Nasdaq CME Crypto Index, expanding the fund from eight to nine assets.

The addition of HYPE to the index comes as Hyperliquid Strategies increased its equity financing arrangement with Chardan Capital Markets from $1 billion to $2.5 billion, representing available capacity rather than capital already secured.

Cryptocurrency analyst Ted reported on X that a major investor acquired $11.8 million worth of HYPE within 24 hours.
