HYPE Token Surges to New All-Time High Following Trump's White House Comments

Hyperliquid's native token HYPE reached a fresh all-time high of $77.55 on Aug. 21, following U.S. President Donald Trump's public discussion about bringing the decentralized derivatives crypto exchange into the United States.

The price rally extended an acceleration that began after Trump hosted a White House meeting with crypto and traditional finance executives, including leaders from Coinbase, Kraken, Ripple, Robinhood, and Gemini.

Trump's comments specifically singled out Hyperliquid, saying CFTC Chair Michael Selig was 'Working to bring Hyperliquid into the United States in a fully compliant and legal fashion.'

HYPE was trading around $66 before Trump's remarks and surged above $77 within two days. The token has seen more than 35% growth over the past week, with its market capitalization near $16.95 billion.
