Hype Whale Transfers $53M in HYPE Tokens

A significant transfer of HYPE tokens has been recorded on Coinbase Prime and FalconX, totaling $53.03 million. This transaction is attributed to a 'HYPE Whale' that had staked 2.886 million tokens at approximately $19.79 in early 2023. The entity unstaked these tokens in late July and routed them into the two platforms.

This development marks an intensification of HYPE whale activity, with cumulative outflows reaching 1.956 million tokens ($110 million) and realized gains of $109 million. Interestingly, a portion of the transferred funds, amounting to 969000 HYPE ($55.73 million), remains in the wallet.

The price action on the four-hour chart indicates that HYPE is trading at $57.63 within its Bollinger Bands. The upper band at $58.51 serves as immediate resistance, while the bullish MACD golden cross and neutral RSI of 63.07 maintain a stable structure above the EMA50 support at $55.68.
